October 7, 2008

DALLAS, Oct. 7 — AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) and AccuWeather.com(R) today announced the initial launch of Weather On Demand,an interactive feature that allows AT&T U-verse(SM) TV customers to find
the weather information they want, in the city they want, at the time they
want — all at the touch of a button. Weather On Demand content is provided
by AccuWeather.com, “The World’s Weather Authority.”

U-verse TV customers in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth,
Indianapolis and San Diego can now enjoy the feature at no extra charge.
AT&T plans to make the feature available to all U-verse TV customers in
2009.

“Weather On Demand is another great example of the benefits of U-verse
TV and our Internet Protocol (IP) platform,” said G.W. Shaw, AT&T executive
director of U-verse marketing. “We’re making it easy for customers to check
weather conditions and forecasts in their hometown or across the country,
whenever they want. We know that AccuWeather.com’s content will be a great
resource for our U-verse TV customers who want up-to-date and accurate
weather information.”

Jim Candor, senior vice president of New Media for AccuWeather.com,
said: “We’re proud to deliver on-demand weather information to U-verse TV
customers. This is a great opportunity to bring users of this new digital
platform the same weather that has served viewers so well on traditional
television.”

Customers can access weather information for their home city and any
other U.S. city they specify on their “My Cities” list by tuning to Channel
227. Customers can then:

* View weather information for cities throughout the country that they
select.

* View current local conditions, including high/low temperatures,
humidity, wind, visibility and barometric pressure.

* Get local and nationwide forecasts, including hourly and six-day
outlooks.

* Access animated local and national radar imagery and satellite views.

* Watch current videos of meteorologists presenting the local weather
updates.

* Search and select cities by name, ZIP code or by looking at a U.S.
map.

Weather On Demand is the latest addition to the constantly evolving
suite of features that has been introduced to all U-verse TV customers at
no extra charge since the AT&T U-verse launch in June 2006, including Total
Home DVR; the ability to program DVR recordings from your mobile phone;
personalized, on-screen weather, sports, traffic and stock information via
AT&T U-bar; the ability to track and manage your fantasy football team and
league standings from your TV from within the U-bar; a customized channel
to browse personal online photos from flickr.com; and more.
