Hightech glove: Now use your iPod with gloves
Oct 18, 2007 News

U sure love your lady a lot, but you don’t wanna run into an accident talkin to her on phone while driving? Then again, you don’t want to have a rockstar collision either while switching tracks on the oh-so-sleek iPod, isn’t it? Looks like the German Carsten Mehring from Stuttgart has a solution that’s going to make the traffic police smile. What he has designed is the glove remote control for the iPod and other tech gadgets. Just wear it on two of your fingers and you’re all set to turn up the volumes, or switch tracks by just using those two fingers. I think it’s pretty cool. It’s probably one of life’s little ways of making us feel like magicians. Whatever you say, this concept it here to stay. Transferring signals wirelessly to the iPod? It couldn’t get better, could it?

The posted video is about an earlier development, i.e., the KITTY (Keyboard Independent Touch Typing) system, a finger-worn QWERTY keyboard. Check out http://www.kittytech.com or browse YouTube for “crmehring” if you are interested in this one.
